Bedouin Girl 05:22
Bedouin Girl Under a starry sky I can catch a glimpse Of the wonders of the desert laid out for me And oasis well where I spy your pretty eyes Under a moonlit night there’s no listake I’m lost And in amazement on the shore of this sand filled sea Thus far without assail bewildered you’re my first surprise “Chorus” Follow, won’t you follow me Won’t you follow me…Follow Destiny beckons me but there’s no certainty You’re not a fortunate stroke of serendipty Like some distraction or a siren song detracting me Bedouin Girl, how you mesmerize With your well spring lips and your deep brown eyes And your mocha skin, and your whispering voice, and your switching hips I see you don’t leave much choice for me “Chorus’ Lead on, lead on Bedouin Girl I am no Alchemist, but this chemistry Has transformed this brozy beauty in front of me You’re a treasure trove, you’re a precious find I’ll come back for you girl don’t think left behind In me….

Heart Is Breaking But your lips feel right tonight, tonight And your arms are warm and tight tonight Say the word, I won’t leave your sight tonight Don’t let go of this love and light tonight My heart is breaking my Heart’s breaking for you…you My heart is breaking my Heart’s breaking for you…you Be my friend, be my heart tonight, tonight I won’t scream I won’t start to fight tonight Let me go, I don’t burn as bright tonight Got me low, let me be your height tonight My heart is breaking my Heart’s breaking for you…you My heart is breaking my Heart’s breaking for you…you Repeat: Why do you stay? Why do you stay? Why do you stay? Why do you stay?

Ship’s Rolled In You had the best of me Go on and keep your white flag up It’s been 10 long years at sea It’s due deliverence girl And while it hurts to let you go It’s always been somewhere else to be And I don’t want it but this ship’s rolled in And I don’t need it, Don’t need it anymore I don’t want it but this ship’s rolled in tonight It’s time for honesty It seems we’re both despondent here in this medioocrity The winds are blowing now Better jump relationship before I lose what’s left in me And I don’t want it but this ship’s rolled in And I don’t need it, Don’t need it anymore I don’t want it but this ship’s rolled in tonight

Long Gone 02:55
Long Gone The sun is settling in…Images of you Something’s wearing thin…See right through Your liostick lined with sin…You forget to blush Every now and then…I might miss you “Chorus” Long Gone…Stay with me tonight Whatever makes it right Before I find you Long Gone…Seems to me you might Stay with me tonight Stay with me… You’re soaked in wine again…Fillagree’s gone foul Prime for packing in…Prime for me To catch before you land…Innocent in love On the other hand…You might just be “Chorus” “Alt Chorus” Long Gone…Something’s wearing thin Every now and then…I might find you Long Gone…Lipstick lined with sin Soaked in wine again…You might just be “Chorus”

Hideaway 04:31
Hideaway Veiled by the dark of insecurity Tucked away from your eyes Twisted tales inside Trapped in all the lies You can’t see me I’ll keep my disguise Til you realize Who I am… ‘Chorus” I will hide until you find me I will hide away Day after day with fear of knowing me One tale will soon paralyze I’m consumed inside With falsehooods of mine I’m conceding Got me terrorized Cause I’ve realized That you may never know who I am “Chorus” “Bridge” Should we give it up baby Should we give it up now Should we give it up baby Or can we work it out Can we just work it out now Can’t we just work it out now “Chorus”

Look For Another Wrapped around your finger but you don’t understand How all the bruises start to linger with each sleight of your hand But you can’t keep my jingle all attached to your brand Cause I can buy myself a drum if I want beats in my band “Chorus” I’m gonna look look look for another I’m Gonna look look look for another I’m gonna Lie down for another I’m gonna look look look for another This picture isn’t perfect if you don’t know the meaning When you pretend to not be surfieted on someone like this Before the spillage hits the surface you were already cleaning You swept the lying and the fighting under something’s not missing “Chorus” “Bridge” “Chorus”

Pathos 02:44
Pathos Bridled by the gun As if you think that you’re the only one You’re the last one fighting Sentiment unfurled As if to bring oppression on the world You’re the last one crying “Chorus” Last one fighting Last one crying Last one dying Soldiered to a leg Anticipate the cracking of the egg You’re the last one fighting Sedimentary mind To champion supremacy of kind You’re the last one crying “Chorus” Tethered to a tale To strike at any moment of a gale You’re the last one dying

Fight Your Light On It’s cold now Frost has fallen on the ground And the cracks can kill your mind And you savor each sound And the winter settles in So bring it in and burn it out “Chorus” And fight your light on Fight your light on Fight your light on It’s dark now Remnants of the day are all around Can’t illuminate your kind Perserveering each pound now Oh and every shadow will be shown within So tune it in and turn it out “Chorus” Though you can’t see for days, And you don’t know where it’s coming in… “Chorus” ‘Til the leaves are in the trees
10.
Wide Open 05:28
Wide Open Push it through the doorway See it on a dusty road Swimming in a season Listen what the old eyes told “Chorus” It’s wide open Wide open yeah It’s wide open Wide open yeah Part it with the waters Find it in a leaf singed book Breathe it in a casket Kiss it in a palm you took “Chorus” Flood it in a market Heal it in a broken heart Sharpen up your mindset Finish it with what you start “Chorus”

Deepwater Horizon Swiftly the water rolls the sun Drifting me gently forward Water surrounds me Caught in the ebb and flow Long is the journey Ba da dump… Laughing the dolfhins pass me by Revel in swimming swifter Leaping, alighting Up on their backs it’s so Thrilling, exciting Ba da dump... Past every buoy, passed the boom Shore passes time eroded Sinking the feeling The end is drawing near Cling to what’s living Ba da dump…

about

Andrea and Jered traveled to Costa Rica to write songs for their newly formed band, and came up with this collection of tunes. Inspired by the current political climate and the great Gulf of Mexico oil spill, as well as love and loss and hope and sacrifice! A team effort not experienced ever before by the two. When they moved to Las Vegas they met up with Upstart Ken Osborne and began creating this lovely collection of recordings. Please enjoy "11" by The Mysteries Gone.
